2009 Kids!

I can't believe I forgot to post on our new additions. Last Thursday our 2 oldest does gave birth. Victory had triplets(B,G,B) and Praise had twins(B,G). These pictures don't do them justice...they are sooo cute! I will take more pictures and post them next week when life slows down:)

Happy Birthday to my Mom who is 21 yet again. I don't know how she does it but she is always turning 21 or was it 19???

We're Grandparents

Thursday was a busy day. I had a dream that the goats had triplets, and then I woke to find Victory not herself. After brushing up on labor signs I figured she was in early labor. We checked on her every 1/2 hour or so, and then I just got a chair and sat with her and read a book. I called my friend Dalyn and she came over to check her out. Within five minutes of Dalyn being there, victory started pushing. Talk about great timing! Victory struggled a bit not really knowing what was going on but had 3 beautiful kids. Boy, Girl, Boy. It was exciting and nerve racking all at the same time.
While Dalyn was there she checked Praise and thought she was going to be soon also. After Victory had her kids I went into the house to eat and relax a bit. We kept checking on Praise but wasn't noticing any changes. Jordan did a check around 7:30 and said Praise was fine. I decided to check her out(to look at the back end) and when I went out there she was pushing!!! I ran back in to get the towels and let Rob know what was going on. She delivered twins Boy and a girl.
It was very exciting, being our first time. But I have to say I was so exhausted by the time I went in at 10pm, I basically passed out on the bed:)Both Mama's are doing great and they are very attentive.

What we've been up to

A whole lot of nothing. Just busy with school, and working in the garden getting it ready for planting, and also getting ready for some kids! My garden is about 2x the size it was last year, so a good part of my summer will be keeping up with the weeds:)
I have 2 goats that are to kid on May 9th so we are also getting ready for that. We are very excited and a bit nervous as this is our first kidding. *note to self~stagger births:)
Schooling is continuing along nicely, we should be completely done by mid to end of June. Some of our subjects will finish up before then so it won't feel as we are doing that much school. The 3 oldest kids are in soccer this year again, and they are loving it. I am glad to say that the weather is cooperating unlike last year;)

This picture was taken last year, I haven't uploaded the pictures from today yet. She had a great day! Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and to share cake with us and then they turned around and headed home for the 5 hour drive. It was great to see them, hadn't seen them since Christmas.
Jaelyn's day included lots of presents, choice of meals and no chores.
Her meals were:
B: Chocolate donuts
L: Top Ramen
D: Mac and cheese

She sure loves her carbs:)

Her day includes no school, and a friend over to play. Also a trip to Baskin and Robins for ice cream.
Her meals include cinnamon rolls, Mac and Cheese(blue box) and hamburgers and hot dogs. and of course there will be cake!
