It's Cold Out There!!

Here in Eastern WA we are having a cold snap. The nights are negative temps and the days are in the low teens, except for today. We've been keeping the kids indoors for the most part. They did get out before it got really cold and got to sled and build snow forts. We have snow in the forcast for at least a week, I hope both sets of parents don't freeze when they come to visit!

Rob and the kids building a snow fort.

cheesy smiles! .

The poor animals are having to endure this cold snap, we've added blankets, warm molasses water and a heat lamp. I hope they make it!

Love the goat coat! We have the same weather/forecast going on over here too. BRRRR!! The fire's been roarin' all night and day!

Had to put a heater in the garage so the cats wouldn't freeze.

Ok, we are ready, are you?

Round 2 or is it 3? Losing track of all these storms...this one is more south of I-90.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
(that's an understatement.)

I hope your folks aren't flying Alaska....gulp! Hmmmmmmmm....
Insert fingers in ears..."lalalalalalaaaaaaaaa"
