Birthday Pics

This last weekend we celebrated Jaelyn's 3rd birthday. My Mom and Dad came over on Saturday and stayed the night. It was great seeing them since we have not seen them since Christmas. Here are some pics.

The present was bigger than her it seemed, and she dressed for the occasion.

This smile was on her face the whole time, it was great!

little excited??
we made cupcakes this year, and I formed it into a 3. The other girls frosted and decorated it with sprinkles.

Dad, Mom and the kids

In the beginning of April I planted seeds, 5 different types of tomatos, peppers eggplant, basil, a whole mess of flowers. They sit in my dinning room window waiting to be planted outdoors. The tomatos are doing great. Only half of the peppers grew and none of the eggplant. I real do have great success in this window. I have never done eggplant before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I guess I do now:)

Update

Sorry it has been so long. Here is an update:

The fence is about 2/3 done, Handsome hubby has been working on it every spare minute.
Soccer is going great Jordan scored her first goal in the first game:) Soccer would be more enjoyable if mother nature would turn up the heat. It actually snowed today~wierd. Last year at this time we were wearing shorts and T~shirts, not sweaters and jackets.

The birds are having a hay day outside. So are the cats chasing them and bring us gifts:) I guess they decided to try and improve their skills because when I looked outside my dining room window this is what I saw:

Somehow I think the birds are on to him!

What a week

Wow what a week, Hubby was gone, teaching a class. Soccer started, thankfully all the practices are on the same day within 2 hours of each other:) This makes this Mama very happy:) The kiddos and I visited a friend who just had a baby, a very cute one at that...as if there is such a thing as an ugly baby:) Ran fifty million errands...ok not fifty but you get the point. We left the house every day except for Monday, which I hate to do with these gas prices (@ $3.50 a gallon). We also had AWANA. We are planning to get some chicks, maybe this week.

The fence is coming along, but slowly. Hubby is tappering the horizontal poles and boring out the vertical poles for the horizontals to fit in. It is a lot of work but the end result, we think, will be nice. I also got my camara that I've been waiting for. It has more features on this thing than I can figure out, but I am very impressed. I am having lots of fun! All in all we had a very good week, but this week we are going to try and stay home more, which I enjoy very much:)

Its about time!

We finally, after a year 4 months, put up curtains in our dining room. So no more squinting at each other during breakfast. I am sure glad hubby talked me into getting the sheers for behind, I think it gives it a great look. Don't mind the ugly 80's light in the 2nd picture, it will be gone pretty soon.
