http://ourcrazyfarm.blogspot.com/2011/03/celebration.html

This is a hard read, but a wonderful testimony to God's faithfulness. Terri writes about the celebration of her son Trent's life. Terri and her husband boldly share their faith with anyone who will listen. Thank you Terri for your boldness to share the gospel! Please read and be encouraged!

What a week

Wow what a week, Hubby was gone, teaching a class. Soccer started, thankfully all the practices are on the same day within 2 hours of each other:) This makes this Mama very happy:) The kiddos and I visited a friend who just had a baby, a very cute one at that...as if there is such a thing as an ugly baby:) Ran fifty million errands...ok not fifty but you get the point. We left the house every day except for Monday, which I hate to do with these gas prices (@ $3.50 a gallon). We also had AWANA. We are planning to get some chicks, maybe this week.

The fence is coming along, but slowly. Hubby is tappering the horizontal poles and boring out the vertical poles for the horizontals to fit in. It is a lot of work but the end result, we think, will be nice. I also got my camara that I've been waiting for. It has more features on this thing than I can figure out, but I am very impressed. I am having lots of fun! All in all we had a very good week, but this week we are going to try and stay home more, which I enjoy very much:)

I AM SO READY FOR SPRING!!!!
To get your flowers go here:
There is some snow and ice still on the ground, but I can smell spring, or maybe it's just the 50 degree temps:) The kiddos and us grown ups have been outside for the past few days enjoying the sunny weather.
This weekend was very productive, we butchered(we, meaning my hubby) 2 of our roosters and helped out at our friends farm, trimming goat hooves, castrating the boy, and giving shots. It was quite a weekend. I am looking forward to more on-hands-learning. It really is the best way to learn, and the easiest way for me to learn. There is so much to learn that you can't learn out of book. Thanks Dalyn!!

A Night of Fun

Saturday evening, our friends dropped their kiddos off at our house so they could go to a company Christmas party. We had fun ourselves...Pizza, decorating cookies and a movie. They are great kids to have around and they decorate a mean cookie:)
